It's a nice surprise that publisher Bandai Namco gives us three small games on Steam this week.

Free games are always fun! Japanese publisher Bandai Namco is clearly feeling in a generous mood these past few days, and has decided to celebrate spring and simultaneously treat us to three mini productions that are completely free to collect on the Steam platform. These titles are actually part of the “2023 New Worker Training Program” led by Bandai Bamco in collaboration with Japanese publisher Phoenixx. To be more precise, the three titles were developed by Gyaar Studio, an “indie” game company within Bandai Namco made up of newly recruited. So it is an opportunity to explore the potential of these new talents entering the house. The idea, according to the publisher, is this: to allow young people at Gyaar to gain experience by pitching these three short ideas to the public in order to better prepare for the company's larger projects. Last year, a previous batch of games were only available in Japan, so it's nice that this is finally available to us. And good news, the feedback on the Steam pages is already very positive.

Three completely different experiences are available this week on Steam. In the bundle of proposed projects, there is a first NOTTOLOT, which is a robot action game. The principle is this: you must wisely use the ability of the main character, Rolly, to hack enemy robots to escape from a factory where you are in danger of dying. So you should approach the enemy discreetly from behind, attack them, hack them and then control them as you wish. The latter have several abilities such as flying in the sky, or climbing walls. In total, there are three steps you must complete to achieve victory. Get the game for free on its Steam page.

In a much more graceful spirit this time, there is DORONKO WANKO, a game in which you will have the absolutely incredible opportunity to play as an adorable little Pomeranian and utterly defile your master's house. Luckily, since you're still super cute, no one will really blame you. The concept might fit on a post-it, but it still has the benefit of being relatively original. As a doggy, you should therefore roll in the mud spread all over the ground and then splash everything you can. The goal is to make a mess and find “hidden malfunctions” in the house to unlock the door to the “room of good smells.” More mud = more damage and you can marvel at your total damage done at the end of your game. If you were brilliant, you would even be entitled to a small gift. Get the game for free on its Steam page.

After all, BOOMEROAD is an action-adventure game that promises great sensations as players can slide on rails created by a boomerang that you launch yourself. And here we are dealing with a rather unique concept and it is probably my favorite of the lot. The game is set in an ancient ruin floating in the sky and the player must navigate the skies at will while searching for items. Get the game for free on its Steam page.
