Major update for Forza Motorsport: new track, liveries, AI, gameplay… the details! | Xbox

After a difficult launch, Turn10 is working to make improvements to Forza Motorsport. While big changes are planned for AI, progression, and penalties later this year, today the first details of the next update are revealed.

A major update in February

In a blog post, Turn10 indicates that the teams have started gathering feedback from players to work on the big changes expected in 2024 in the game. At the same time, the studio offers a first glimpse of update #5, which will be available in February.

This is a fairly substantial update that will offer various fixes in terms of AI, gameplay, quality of life, livery editor, and stability, to name just a few.

Below, you will find the details of the upcoming changes in update #5, while a new circuit will also be available with this update. This is the famous Nürburgring Nordschleife track, highly anticipated by players, which will be revealed more widely soon.

Remember that Forza Motorsport is playable now on Xbox Series X|S and PC and is also available in Xbox Game Pass and PC Game Pass.

Stability

  • Fixing a problem where the game becomes unresponsive when returning to Free Practice in multiplayer mode from a suspended state. [1612807]
  • Fixing a crash that could occur after selecting “Skip trials”, quitting the race, and re-entering the event. [1657219]
  • Fixing an issue that could occur at the entrance of Forzavista. [1671290]
  • Fixing a crash that could occur when opening a race. [1672588]
