Lenovo Yoga Pro 7 14IRH8 (82Y700B9FR)

The screen has sRGB and IPS specifications, which make the colors more faithful than average and provide important horizontal and vertical viewing angles.
The screen also stands out with its 16:10 format, displaying more information in height than the classic 16:9, here combined with a 2.5K resolution suitable for high definition content.
The screen also stands out with its 90Hz refresh rate which enhances overall fluidity compared to the standard 60Hz.
As it is anti-reflective, the screen is also more readable in bright environments (e.g. outdoors) than a glossy panel.

Performance, autonomy of the Lenovo Yoga Pro 7 14IRH8 (82Y700B9FR)

The Lenovo Yoga Pro 7 14IRH8 (82Y700B9FR) is a compact, high-performance versatile laptop in terms of processor.

In terms of autonomy, it is able to last about 8 hours on battery in light use, which will be of interest to nomads and some looking for a student laptop as it is easy to carry thanks to its compactness, thinness, and lightness.

It delivers good general performance that will satisfy many users.
It is powered by an Intel Raptor Lake Core i5-13500H processor with 12 hybrid cores in which the Iris Xe graphics solution is housed, paired with 16GB of RAM.

This processor will be of interest to creators in particular. For example, it guarantees much faster processing than a classic Quad Core and 8GB DDR4, the difference being particularly noticeable in CPU and RAM resource-intensive work where multicore processing is utilized, such as in video editing or photo editing.

However, keep in mind that if you plan to frequently perform CPU and/or GPU intensive tasks, you should consider a PC with a processor offering a greater number of powerful cores and/or a suitable dedicated graphics card.

No dedicated GPU is onboard here. With the Iris Xe, you can watch HD photos and videos, and even consider playing light to moderate games if you are willing to make concessions like reducing the screen resolution.
The 2.5K resolution requires more graphics calculations than Full HD, resulting in a lower number of fps.

Lenovo here opts for an SSD for storage, which is logical since it is more robust than a hard drive, less power-hungry, silent, and much faster.
An SSD provides increased responsiveness and fluidity compared to a hard drive.

Thanks to the SSD, startups/shutdowns, processing, and software launches are faster, for example, and you arrive more quickly on the online game maps.

This is a 512GB SSD integrated here, equivalent in capacity to standard hard drives.
However, if you need additional space, you can expand it by using an external storage module. Opting for a USB 3.0/USB-C device is then an interesting option for fast transfers.

As for heat and noise, expect them to be present in case of high demands (e.g. processing) on this versatile multimedia-oriented laptop, and you may want to consider pairing it with a ventilated support to limit temperatures (be sure to check the dimensions!).
